Words on a page.
Simple and unassuming enough, but we know that God takes the right words at the right time and does something that only he can. He transforms.
We’ve been shaped by books and we’ve seen books shape individuals, families, churches, whole communities. Ultimately, we’re driven by the Book that has changed the world. That’s what compels us each and every day to serve and support authors and writers.
We don’t take representation lightly.
what we do
Writing is relational.
It’s author and editor. Author and marketer. Author and publicist. All culminating with author and reader.
To write is to communicate with an individual. To be invited into a reader’s sacred space: thoughts, questions, and convictions. It is an opportunity, by God’s grace, to address their fears, shape their dreams, and enhance their joys.
The calling of our work as agents is to support and encourage each of those relationships at every step of the way.
Our goal is not just for books to be written, but for them to be read. This drives our engagement in the publishing process from start to finish. Every stage is important, every relationship valuable.
The greatest relationship in the process, however, is spiritual in nature—between each individual and God. And so our desire is to see God honored, the Church served, and God’s Kingdom built through the ends and the means.
our Team
Andrew has been surrounded, challenged, taught, and fascinated by books and great authors for his entire life, and he’s had the privilege of working with them as a literary agent since 2005.
Agenting calls him to serve clients by prayerfully stewarding their work with wisdom and diligence, and to strive to see that the resulting resources are delivered to readers with excellence.
Andrew is a reader, a sports fan, a hiker, the lucky husband of Chrissy, a dad of three girls and a son, an integrator of faith and work, and a foster care and adoption advocate.
Austin considers it an incredible privilege to steward an author’s idea from concept to bound book. He is passionate about serving his clients through every stage of the publishing journey, helping to bring their vision to life.
His career in publishing began at Moody Publishers while he was a student at the Moody Bible Institute. A lifelong avid reader, his time with Wolgemuth & Wilson has only deepened his love for the entire publishing process.
Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Austin is a pastor’s kid, an avid backpacker, and lover of the outdoors. He and his wife, Kendall—whom he met in the fifth grade—have a heart for foster care and adoption. The Wilsons live with their four children in Parker, Colorado.
A deep love for books has been a consistent theme throughout Erik’s life. And, likely, the best “qualification” he had when he began work with the literary agency in 2005. He finds a unique joy in each stage of the publishing process and in the collaboration that it takes to effectively launch a book into the marketplace.
The opportunity to partner with authors to help them steward the messages that God has put on their heart is both a deep joy and a high calling to him.
Erik is blessed to call Kendal his wife, and he particularly enjoys exploring the beauty of Colorado with their three children. He loves serving in their local church and relishes any opportunity to get out for some cycling.

Our history
We’re a literary agency established by people who love books and who relish serving and supporting authors in the high calling of publishing.
Since our origin in 1992, we have been called to serve the Church and build God's Kingdom through the power of the written word.
The agency originated in 1992 when Robert Wolgemuth and Michael Hyatt began serving authors as literary agents. In the Fall of 2005, Erik and Andrew joined Robert at the agency. Austin joined in May 2011, and the three partners have led the agency since 2020.
We believe in and are driven by the stewardship of the ideas, words, and movements that God has placed on the hearts and minds of individuals and organizations.
As the world changes and affects the publishing industry, we relish staying on the edge of our seats on behalf of our clients and their readers. Because, we continue to love books.
Publishing shouldn’t be a solitary endeavor.
The best authors have a committed, talented team in their corner supporting them in each step of the journey to publication…and beyond.
